This last year I felt like I found the grade I love to work with. It took me 9 years to get to this through me being transferred, but I finally found the right fit. There will be challenges and it will take time getting to know the new scholars I will have, but I have so much hope!

The longer I have worked hands on in the classroom, the more I see the kids and the less exhausting it is with all the paperwork. That doesn’t make the paperwork go away or make it less important, it does the opposite.

I want to write better documentation and implement it better, but one thing I was thinking, in the short time I have actually been a certified teacher is that some of the scholars that come in my class need so much more attention than I can give because I have all the other scholars in the classroom that need just as much focus and time that they lose because I am trying to meet all of their needs.

Having the support of admin, general education staff, district staff, and BCBA’s definitely helps, but it is still a huge task to accomplish.
